Details are in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stroud.gov.uk\/media\/355967\/consultation-draft-heritage-strategy_july-2017.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">downloadable pdf document available from the SDC website HERE<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>SDC are particularly interested in;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>whether the priorities and big issues identified within the document are the right things to focus on;<\/li>\n<li>what options exist for tackling them;<\/li>\n<li>any practical or financial implications; and<\/li>\n<li>whether there are other options or opportunities that have been missed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There is no structured consultation questionnaire \u2013 views can be sent by email, letter, or a response proforma from the website. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stroud.gov.uk\/media\/355967\/consultation-draft-heritage-strategy_july-2017.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Full details are in the first few pages of the document.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Updated to add:<\/strong> <\/span>Stroud Civic Society will be responding to this document and would be pleased to incorporate any comments members may have on this issue in their reply.\u00a0 Comments should be sent by post to our Chairman, Juliet Shipman at Apartment B, \u00a0Field House, Field House Gardens, Stroud, Glos GL5 2JX or email <a href=\"mailto:julietshipman@hotmail.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">julietshipman@hotmail.com<\/a>\u00a0in time for us to respond before the end of the consultation period on 15<span style=\"font-size: 11.6667px;\">th<\/span>\u00a0September.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Stroud District Council have recently announced an 8 week consultation period on A Heritage Strategy for Stroud District.\u00a0 The Civic Society will be submitting views \u2013 and we would encourage everyone interested in Stroud to do so too.
