The Town Council have begun a consultation on the area outside the Subscription Rooms. They say:
For decades the space outside the Subscription Rooms has played an important part in Stroud town life. The Town Council believes it is time to transform the space into a true “Town Square” to be used and enjoyed by all.
It is YOUR space and we would like your input into the designs. Help us get the best results by taking part in this consultation.
The consultation period on the town square project started on 21 March and will run until 29 April. You can leave your feedback here at https://stroudtownsquare.commonplace.is/
There will be a consultation drop-in session on Saturday 2 April from 10am–4pm at the Subscription Rooms. People can also vote on what species of tree they would like to see planted.
