A morning tour of this great mediaeval cathedral with time for lunch at The Loft Café with its views of the magnificent West Front on Saturday 17th December
A short distance away is Old Bowlish House, Shepton Mallet – a former substantial clothier’s house remodelled in the 18th century. Our specially arranged festive visit includes an introduction to the history of the house and the re-creation of past Christmas celebrations with examples of music, readings, decorations and food. A sumptuous tea is promised (including wassail cup!).

5.00pm Leave Old Bowlish House. We should be back in Stroud by 6.30pm
