Two great Badminton Gardens – a visit on Monday 24th July 10.00am – 3.30pm
A private visit to the magnificent grade 1 listed gardens at Badminton House (home of the Duke and Duchess of Beaufort), and a visit to Well Cottage (home of the Dowager Duchess)
Badminton House gardens were first established in the 17th century and have grown and developed ever since. There is much to see – the East garden with its parterres and fountains, the South garden with its rose beds and the walled garden, which supplies fruit and vegetables to the house (a complete contrast to Elmore Court).
After a picnic lunch, we drive to the delightful garden at Well Cottage, created by Miranda Dowager Duchess since 2017.
