On Saturday 18th February, the Stroud Civic Society put up a stall in the Farmers’ Market in Stroud, showing our banner and spreading the word, and also hoping to bring in some new recruits.
We are very grateful for the help and the free pitch donated by the organisers of the Stroud Farmer’s market. Many thanks to Kardien ‘Gerb’ Gerbrands for his help and kindness.
Members took turns at the stall throughout the morning and until 2pm when the market closes. Particular thanks to our membership Secretary Guy Williams, who was there for six hours, and David Austin for setting up the stall.
